The Backstory
In October 2024 I was driving to work and it dawned upon me that Blair and Jessie were getting married in 4 days. I hadn't composed any remarks for this hallowed occasion. As i drove I used Chat GP to begin my composition. I waited until I got to work and read the result. After editing and personalizing the remarks I realized that I had the beginnings of what could be a great song. Knowing I couldn''t drag a shower stall out to assist and enhance my voice, I reached out to my friend Jill Addison. She had worked as a photograher for a Music Magazine in the Pacific Northwest. Within an hour she had supplied me with a list of music creating AI apps. I chose Soniva and the result blew me away. "Comfort in The Storm". Little did I know where this would take me in my journey in The Corp of Discovery.

Raising Cane to Walking with a Cane
Life has twists and turns that often catch us off guard. I thought I was in good health until my right hip changed my life. In a week I went from raising cane to walking with a cane.

The good news is that Aaron ( my son , Orthopedic Surgeon) got me on track and referred me to Dr. Anthony Feher who performed a right Total Hip Replacement which has helped me return to Raising Cane.

Rehab from my hip replacment is progressing great!
For me it was a mere speed bump and I'm grateful for my progress. At the same time my thoughts turn to my Brother in Law Ron who had a major operation for a medical condition and it represents a major life change. The good news is that the surgery and outcomes are all great. His path is like climbing a mountain and help ed me to realize that when faced with a challenge you need to suck it up and move on because no matter what your view there is someone else having an even greater challenge and in need of our hugs and prayers!
